Albertsons: Freebies, Deals and Steals!

Doublers are back, and these ones last until the 26th! Woot! Remember, that Albertsons coupon-doubler policy is that coupons that are valued at $1 or LESS maybe used with a doubler. The potential savings is up to $2 per item! Also only THREE doublers maybe used per transaction and some Albertsons require you to leave the line and come back (Gage store for example).

Also not subject to doubling are coupons listed as DO NOT DOUBLE/TRIPLE and coupons that are over $1 ($1.25, $1.50, $2, etc).

Hmm... just noticed that my Albertsons insert does NOT match the website! Lower prices according to the website. Okay, website prices are the Wednesday ad and I'm on the phone (as I'm typing this) with the manager at the Gage store to find out what's going on. He noticed the difference as well and is checking the actual shelf.

Just got off the phone. The prices in WEDNESDAYS ad are the correct prices so if the price in SUNDAYS ad is higher then use WEDNESDAYS for the correct price.

Also, he told me they're still OUT of the Sara Lee Oven Fresh Pies and they're not sure when they'll get any. I forgot to ask about rain checks on this since it is a B1G1 FREE.

EDIT: You can download a PDF copy of this list to print and take with you to the store.

        Where to get coupons

        BEST PLACE: The Sunday newspaper!

        In stores:

Blinkies – Found on various store aisles these little machines spit out coupons as you pull them out. Most blinkies have little lights that blink hence the name.

Catalinas – Receipt-like coupons printed at the register. Not all stores have Catalinas (such as WinCo). These are typically NOT printed on the back of the register receipt.

Hang/Wine Tags – Found around the neck of a bottle with a little piece of string or rubber band.

Peelies – Coupons found on certain products that peel away from the product.

Tearpads – Coupons on a tear away pad. Typically found in a display and not directly on the product.

        Other ways:

Home mailers - sign up for products online or even contact a company to either complain or complement their products. Click here for a blog with over 200 links to companies that will mail you coupons!

Internet coupons - There are many places online that you can print coupons from. See links below for printable online coupons.

Magazines – Pretty much all magazines will have coupons in it. Better Homes & Gardens, Sunset, Parenting, Working Mother are a few. The BEST magazine with coupons is All You magazine.
