Albertsons' Coupon Policy

I e-mailed Albertsons in regards to their coupon policy:
Thank you for contacting us regarding the coupon acceptance policy for the Albertsons stores. We appreciate this opportunity to assist you.

Manufacturer Coupons: Coupons issued by the manufacturer containing: terms of agreement , face value, expiration date, and verbiage manufacturer coupon. They have handling instructions printed on them. Most manufacturer coupons have barcodes on them and can be scanned. Any coupons that do not scan or do not have barcodes should be checked for validity of expiration date and purchase requirements. Albertsons may issue coupons that are manufacturer coupons that contain the words redeemable only at Albertsons.

Store Coupons: Company s discount offers in various forms of media including, but not limited to, print, electronic, newspaper, direct mailers, kiosks and Company websites. Store coupons may also contain the words redeemable only at Albertsons (or a banner of Albertsons). Store coupons may state that the discount applies only with Preferred Card/Super Card/Loyalty Card. When redeeming a store coupon the terms printed on the coupon must be adhered to.

Customer can use a manufacture coupon in conjunction with a store coupon on the same item, if it takes it below the stated retail value we DO NOT give money back. We adjust the coupon. It is up to the Store Director's discretion to accept the coupons at their store.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our customer service center at 1-877-932-7948.

Where to get coupons

BEST PLACE: The Sunday newspaper!

In stores:

Blinkies – Found on various store aisles these little machines spit out coupons as you pull them out. Most blinkies have little lights that blink hence the name.

Catalinas – Receipt-like coupons printed at the register. Not all stores have Catalinas (such as WinCo). These are typically NOT printed on the back of the register receipt.

Hang/Wine Tags – Found around the neck of a bottle with a little piece of string or rubber band.

Peelies – Coupons found on certain products that peel away from the product.

Tearpads – Coupons on a tear away pad. Typically found in a display and not directly on the product.

Other ways:

Home mailers - sign up for products online or even contact a company to either complain or complement their products. Click here for a blog with over 200 links to companies that will mail you coupons!

Internet coupons - There are many places online that you can print coupons from. See links below for printable online coupons.

Magazines – Pretty much all magazines will have coupons in it. Better Homes & Gardens, Sunset, Parenting, Working Mother are a few. The BEST magazine with coupons is All You magazine.
